Saturday, August 6 proved to be quite the entertaining day for this year's Lollapalooza festival at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois. The Deftones had professional camera footage of them rockin out on the main stage of the event to a high energy crowd over the weekend:

The Deftones have been writing and recording new material for their upcoming seventh studio album due out tentatively 2012. Lead vocalist Chino Moreno had this to say about the recording process so far with the new album:
"We find that when we actually get together in a rehearsal spot where there's no distractions and we can work together cohesively as a band, that's really when we're writing songs."
