Its a sad day in the hip-hop industry today. Long time rapper Dwight Arrington Myers (aka Heavy D) was pronounced dead at 44 years old after emergency services were called to his place in Beverly Hills. Police do not believe there is any signs of foul play but will still be investigating his death.
The musician was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital where he was pronounced dead approximately midday (local time). Myers had many hits over the years including "Now That We Found Love" and he performed the theme song for the show 'In Living Color'. Heavy D also jumped into acting and appeared in the movies, "Life" and "Big Trouble".
