Seattle based Demon Hunter has graced the music world with their first single from their upcoming album, True Defiance, which will hit shelves of record stores on April 10th, 2012 via none other than Solid State Records.
Demon Hunter is:
Ryan Clark – lead vocals (founding member)
Jon Dunn – bass guitar (founding member)
Timothy "Yogi" Watts – drums (2004 – present)
Patrick Judge – lead guitar, backing vocals (2009–present)
Jeremiah Scott - rhythm guitar (2012-present)
"This record is without a doubt our most aggressive. Every Demon Hunter record must be a step up from the last. I know that's a goal for every band, but it seldom works that way - especially today, especially in metal. It seems like most band's prime years are long behind them. I refuse to let that be the case for us. We've been extremely underwhelmed with metal for the last five years or so, and that's been the fuel to create this record. This will mark Demon Hunter's 6th full length album under the label of Solid State Records. Solid State also shared some information about the upcoming album release:

Ryan Clark shared his thoughts and feelings about the new single:
“[Someone To Hate] feels like a perfect first-glimpse at the new record. At one point we were even debating on it being the album opener. It’s definitely a thrash song, but with a Demon Hunter twist. I think fans will dig it because it has a lot of classic DH elements, but it really pushes each of those elements to the max. It’s fast, it’s mean, it’s unapologetic… but of course, it has moments of melody as well.”
