Texas In July: Cry Wolf

Anyone else catch the new lyric video from Texas In July over the weekend?  I sure as hell did!  Welcome back everyone on this awesome Tuesday morning here in Toronto.  A little overcast and some rain but we'll get through it, cause all you need is rock!  Right? haha

OK, so back on track.  Canada/US had a nice long weekend to enjoy some of the last campfires and BBQ's before winter sets in (this is where you drop a Game of Thrones reference haha).  Upon returning to the desk/computer this morning, I noticed all the 'likes' and comments in regards to Lancaster's Texas in July and their new lyric video "Cry Wolf".  I got to hand it to Alex, he seems very angry on the first single.  And I always fall back on the notion that all emotional states are good for composing music, but when you're writing heavy music, anger always seems to be a great addition to the formula.

"Cry Wolf" is a great opening single for the band and will definitely garnish some hits on their YouTube account with it.

The band is comprised of Alex Good (Vocals), Ben Witkowski (Bass), Adam Gray (Drums) and Christian Royer (Guitar).

Texas in July will certainly have the opportunity to reach new audiences as they have already begun an impressive, non-stop tour schedule that has taken them all across the United States, Canada and Europe. The band will soon head back into the studio, where they will write and record a new album on Equal Vision Records. The band reflects on their current and future plans stating, '…we just hope to never feel as if we have arrived. We always feel that there is something more for us to achieve and another step to take.'

The self-titled album will see an October 9th, 2012 release date via Equal Vision Records:

1. Initiate
2. Cry Wolf
3. Shallow Point
4. Without a Head ft. Chadwick Johnson (Hundredth)
5. Bed of Nails
6. Repressed Memories
7. C4 ft. Dave Stephens (We Came As Romans)
8. Crux Lust
9. Paranoia
10. Black Magic
11. Cloudy Minds ft. Matt Greiner (August Burns Red)

Orders are happening now so make sure to get in your request.  Also, be sure to catch these guys performing their new material on their current North American dates:

And what better timing then to release a new music video for track #5 "Bed of Nails"

We are proud to present you guys with our brand new music video for "Bed Of Nails"! Hope you guys enjoy it! Spread the word!
