Time to sit back, relax and enjoy the smooth southern country rock tone that Black Stone Cherry has set for their latest album "Magic Mountain". With some memorable riffs and a great vocal accompaniment, I was instantly hooked on the album and the underlying vibe it gave off (with songs like "Peace Pipe" and "Me and Mary Jane"). Subtle...subtle. haha

Magic Mountain is the fourth studio album by Black Stone Cherry and was released on May 6th, 2014 via Roadrunner Records. Production duties were handled by Evil Joe Barresi who has done previous work with Queens of the Stone Age, Clutch, Chevelle, Bad Religion, Apocalyptica, Tomahawk, Pennywise, and more.
