AFGM Playlists

A new item I started to add to AFGM was music video playlists.  While this is nothing new to experienced YouTube users, it was a new field for myself and also a major benefit for choosing the music I wanted to listen to.  I decided early that I did not want 1000 different sub-genres for music.  Sub-genres is one thing I cannot stand.  While they do provide some information into a certain style for a band, it now becomes a consistent subjective argument for people on the internet to degrade other's POVs.

These playlists were simply created for friends and parties actually.  I know that people hosting parties, looking for new music, or just simply something to listen to, would find it hard at times to find new music (or even some older ones you forgot about).  So after going through record label channels on YouTube, I threw them all together into AFGM Playlists.  I feel these playlists have a good grasp on some of the music I encounter on a daily basis.  new material will be added on a regular basis, so be warned in case it's an overload already. haha

- Why do you only have eight genres of playlists?

See above rant. haha

- Is this it?

Nope!  I plan to add new videos on a regular basis with my music video round ups generally each week.

- How does it work?

Select whatever genre you like, click shuffle (or not), and enjoy!  They are currently ranked by most recent upload.

- Why do some genres have a LOT more than others?

I am a huge fan of all music, but sometimes there are a few variables that get in the way.  I do have my music biases, much like everyone else out there, but also the fact I have collected only music videos can sometimes be a problem.  Not every artist makes or has uploaded music videos.  So I work with what I have.
