These articles brought forth are for a few different reasons:
1. It is relevant music information that pertains to you as a reader, no matter the level of intent or the genre.
2. They are relevant to the music I would be currently listening to or a genre I have put some attention and focus on.
3. I am somewhat patriotic about my Canadian music, so that always comes as a first for me. I enjoy music from all parts of the world respectively, but I still have to promote local if I can. Canadian music rocks!
4. Because it's humourous and we can ALWAYS use a good laugh. Rarely will it be at someone's expense...but then again I am just the guy talking about it. They're the ones causing the comments.
So in closing, I trust you all will not read EVERY single article posted here. But I hope you find something of use here and keep the conversation going by forwarding it onto someone else. Click on each article heading for redirection to the full article. Cheers!
Paul McCartney Leaves Guitar Pick at Elvis Presley's Grave:
"Paul was the one Beatle who only saw Presley once, irrespective of Lennon saying he never saw Presley live, contrary to George, who freely admitted seeing him at NY's MSG, and Ringo having said seeing Presley sing live at least twice in Las Vegas. The reason for Paul's placing the guitar pick in his grave is simple. On August 26, 1965, as they visited his home in Bel Air, Paul noticed Presley's initial disappointment with the fact that neither he, nor any of the Beatles, let alone any one in their entourages was able come up with a single guitar pick, once they decided to jam. Everyone looked at their pockets, and wallets, and not a single pick could be found. So, Paul and Elvis went to the kitchen and produced some three or four "picks" out of plastic carboard, then returned to the living room and started their jam. That's why he placed the personalized guitar pick on his grave. Brilliant" -Jaime B. Urroz (Rolling Stone comment)
Concert Review: The genre may have collapsed under Fall Out Boy, but they’re still standing strong:
"By the end, the venue was a sticky, sweaty mess. It was in the encore that Fall Out Boy pushed the agenda that will keep them afloat through the next phase of their career. The song Save Rock N Roll featured a massive slideshow of musical legends scrolling on video boards behind the band, and with the refrain of “Oh no, we won’t go, ‘cause we don’t know when to quit,” the symbolism was obvious. Fall Out Boy consider themselves successors to rock ‘n’ roll’s great lineage, and while that’s something of an overstatement, the feeling here is they’re talented enough to endure, even if the laptop is a more powerful tool than the six-string."

Signed METALLICA Bass Headed To Museum In Jakarta Governor Conflict Of Interest Case:
“If it is to be auctioned, the guitar will be submitted to Finance Ministry, and Mr. Jokowi could have it back again. Or, we could place it in a museum. It seems that we are almost agreed with the second option, to place the guitar in museum, a place where everyone can learn everything." -Jokowi
3 INCHES OF BLOOD - "Fans Almost Demand Personal Access To You":
"In this day and age with the internet and all that, you’re already that accessible if you’re on top of your social media which I like to feel like we are. The fans almost demand that personal access to you anyway. It’s not like we’re playing arenas or stadiums. We can’t really hide away from the fans but it’s not like we really want to. It’s boring sitting backstage all day. You kind of want to get out there and explore the town you’re in if you can, or walk around the venue and see what’s going on when you’re not playing. Most of this tour I’ve been selling our merch so I’m there all night. If people notice that I’m out there, we’ll just chat." -Cam Pipes

SLIPKNOT Drummer Talks About New Project:
"I've done the bulk of the work in the studio but now I've got Jed [Simon, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD] and Kris [Norris, DARKEST HOUR] to play lead guitar on everything. Chris [Vrenna, NINE INCH NAILS] is doing the keyboards and synths and all that stuff and I have an unknown guy on vocals. His name's Henry [Derek Bonner of BLOOD PROMISE] and he's super talented and a great vocalist. I didn't want someone from a known band singing in this band, because then it just becomes some supergroup thing and that's not what this is." -Jordison
