Butchered, Taped and Ready to Rock

Avert your eyes children under 19, this is where the love of metal and sex come into play better than anything else I can think of at the present moment.  The Butcher Babies are dubbed one of metal's "hottest acts".  But I don't think its the music anyone has really been focusing on (haha).  Just kidding folks.

The band consists of:

Heidi Shepherd- Vocals | Carla Harvey- Vocals | Henry Flury- Guitar
Jason Klein- Bass | Chrissy Warner- Drums

BB have been described as such (as per their Facebook bio):

Faster than you can say heavy fucking metal, The Butcher Babies have clawed their way to the top of the Hollywood music scene to become the undisputed darlings of the Sunset Strip.

Fronted by Carla Harvey and Heidi Shepherd, (former Playboy TV and radio personalities that are rarely seen wearing more than strategically placed electrical tape and a gallon or so of blood), and backed by Henry Flury on lead guitar (Amen), Jason Klein on bass (Azdachao), and Chris Warner on drums (Scars of Tomorrow), the Butcher Babies dish out metal at its finest during shows that play out like a slaughter house carnival ride.

Rock Journalist Keith Valcourt recently hailed the Butcher Babies as “The Hottest Band in the World” in his review of a show. “The Butcher Babies deliver a loud crashing blend of heavy metal, punk and thrash that recalls Pantera and Motorhead, with a healthy dose of young, pissed-off Runaways-era Joan Jett tossed in,” notes Valcourt, adding “their stage show embodies the horror antics of Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie. Carla and Heidi don’t merely sing: they assault the crowd with a blinding flash of aggression and abuse. And the crowd loves them for it.”

The Butcher Babies’ anxiously awaited first EP is due to be released late this year, and July 2011 marked the release of a Butcher Babies comic book that was a sell out at famed Comic Con International, adding to their mythology. The perfect anti heroes for a new generation of shock rockers, the Butcher Babies are quickly turning the music business on its ear and are poised to take on the world.

"Mr. Slowdeath" acted as their single before the release of their debut album "Goliath", which was released on July 9th, 2013 via Century Media Records.

  1. Been done before...The Plasmatics late 70's early 80's, first single was "Butcher Baby", came out on blood spattered vinyl. The girls are a little better looking than Wendy O Williams, but the strategically placed electrical tape was her thing.
