Killswitch Engage: "Alive Or Just Breathing" 10th Anniversary Tour

Holy inbox Batman!  I was sitting at home yesterday thinking about what I was going to talk about this week, considering the two amazing interviews I had last week.  When all of a sudden, I get an invite from Intertia Entertainment with the caption "Killswitch Engage - 10th Anniversary Tour".  Almost didn't make it to the bathroom from that morning coffee (haha).

Anyways, as some of you die hard fans are already aware about, metalcore legends KILLSWITCH ENGAGE have announced their 10th Anniversary Tour in support of the game changing album "Alive Or Just Breathing".  This means that KSE will be performing this album IN IT'S ENTIRETY for this tour!

1. Numbered Days
2. Self Revolution
3. Fixation on the Darkness
4. My Last Serenade
5. Life to Lifeless
6. Just Barely Breathing
7. To the Sons of Man
8. Temple from the Within
9. The Element of One
10. Vide Infra
11. Without a Name (Instrumental)
12. Rise Inside

"I honestly never thought I would have the opportunity to sing these songs on stage with Killswitch again. Now here I am back in the band and celebrating 10 years of the release of this record. I am absolutely thrilled for this tour. I can’t wait to sing 'Rise Inside' and 'Just Barely Breathing' among others. On top of it all, we have our good friends in Shadows Fall and Acaro joining us. This tour will be one we will all remember!" -Jesse Leach

Now that the brief history lesson has concluded, now we can move onto the pressing matters, such as the supporting acts, tour poster and dates.

KSE got themselves a hell of a support group for the trek.  Shadows Fall, as well as Acaro will be getting the venues warmed up before hell unleashes itself (haha).  Anyone else going to see me in the pit for this one?  I hope my camera makes it through the whole show.

Not familiar with the opening acts?  Well, you should probably get to know them and make sure to arrive early for the show.  Opening acts need love to you know!

Shadows Fall:

Acaro:

I think that this will mark the 7th or 8th time seeing these guys (second or third with Jesse) and it still is as great as the first day their music landed in my ear drums.  Hell, I even landed on their site for awhile (circa Howard era) as they took some amazing shots from their performance in London, ON:

(Yeah, the pudgy guy going with the wave. haha)

Great energy, great atmosphere and now with the reunion of their former vocalist Jesse Leach, this is going to be one heck of a tour.  So, all were missing now is a video to promote to tour.  Well, they seemed to cover all angles for this.  Cheers and see you in the pit!

"We’re all looking forward to this tour! It’s going to be a great time on all levels. Playing songs we haven’t played in many years, celebrating the 10th anniversary of Alive or Just Breathing with Jesse now back in the band, and just hanging out with some great old friends — we’re psyched." -Joel Stroetzel

And for all you folks that wanna get pumped up for the show, check them playing their entire album at the 2012 California Metalfest:

So anyone get a chance to check out some of the photos from the Toronto show?  Check out the few posted below, and the rest over at AFGM Facebook.
