Music Video Roundup For November 8th, 2013
Whew! So I have seemed to immerse myself in numerous subscriptions on YouTube. Most of which are record labels and promotional companies that pump out countless amounts of music videos, behind the scene shots, album updates, trailers, and more.
So even missing a few days of your subscriptions can really add up. After only one week, my feed has grown to a few hundred. Nonetheless, I still don't find every single video interesting and really want to focus these roundup articles more around the effort that goes into a music video.
Even though MTV and Much Music have really let themselves go in the past few years (do they even play music videos anymore?), the access to decent directors and producers for music videos has skyrocketed...thanks to the online world. It's no wonder that bands can easily afford 3-4 music videos on a single album. The number of viewers has not slowed down and to be honest have probably gone up even with the lack of help from music video television channels.
Even though the site tends to be a little hard to upload so many videos (or so I have been told by readers who look to watch the videos) at one time, I encourage you to watch a few of them and see the time, attention and effort it takes to complete something as small as 3 minutes worth of video.
"Wrath" comes off of Buckcherry's sixth studio album "Confessions", which was released on February 19th, 2013 via Century Media Records/Eleven Seven Music.

"Subject Zero" comes off of Veil of Maya's upcoming unknown release. "If not an album, fans can at least expect an EP this year and a new album next year." -Marc Okubo
