Nonpoint - The Return

Rolling into school on early morning Thursdays meant a stern wake up call to my senses.  Being that I was recently discovering Nonpoint and their 2008 album "To The Pain", I usually started the day off with a coffee, a bagel, and a decent dose of "Bullet With A Name" or "The Wreckoning".  So being fascinated with the album and their 2006 live album "Alive and Kicking", I have been following their career rather closely and loving the discography!

September 30th, 2014 will mark the 8th studio release called "The Return".  The album will mark their second release with Razor & Tie (and somewhere in the liner notes it says Metal Blade Records as well).   This will also mark a shift in guitarists (currently filled by BC Kochmit) as Dave Lizzo has moved onto greener pastures.

"Last record, we stepped in a direction we've wanted to for years and our fans revered us for it. This record we have gotten up to speed and dropped the pedal to the floor.

I think our fans will embrace this record in a way no other NONPOINT record has been viewed or loved. We left no room for question of what we are trying to accomplish with our music or who we are. We haven't gone back to old school. We didn't reflect on our past. We didn't discuss what works. We are not 'Statement' NONPOINT or even 'Bullet' NONPOINT... 'The Return' is NONPOINT right the fuck now." -Elias Soriano

"You know Nonpoint fans never fail us. Giving us love for the new single is always something we will always cherish from Nonpoint fans but an even greater feeling is when your peers give you that same love. We have gotten a lot of nice emails and text messages from friends in the industry praising "Breaking Skin". Thank you very much for that support, It means the world to us." -Nonpoint

Seventeen years into the music scene and these guys are pumping out tracks harder than ever.  It only makes sense that the band will do some extensive touring following the release so keep your radar on.  More info as it comes in folks!

"NONPOINT has always been known for writing songs that help people. If we can help even one person feel better about his or her day, we've done well, as far as I'm concerned. I hope everybody gets something positive and can walk away with a smile." -Robb
