Coheed & Cambria, Between The Buried and Me & Russian Circles 2013 North American Tour!

Holy crap there is a lot to chat about today folks!  Been going through the feeds and reading about bands getting kicked off tours, new music videos dropping, new albums in the works and then we see quite the prog tour being officially announced today.

For those who follow the same music sites I do, you'd know by now that there has been a Coheed & Cambria/Between The Buried In Me/Russian Circles tour in the works for a couple weeks.  Rumors were all over the place, but finally we got some official confirmation that this tour is a go.  The shows are set to kick off in Washington, DC on February 4th and will be well worth the ticket price to go see the three heavyweights.  Being that the two headliners have dropped albums in the past few months (with Russian Circles not too far behind with their October, 2011 release "Empros") so you can be sure to hear new material throughout the evening.

"Coheed and Cambria is an American rock band from Nyack, New York. Formed in 1995, the group's music incorporates aspects of progressive rock, punk rock, metal and post-hardcore.  All of Coheed and Cambria's albums are concept albums that tell a science fiction storyline called The Amory Wars, a story written by lead singer Claudio Sanchez, which has been transcribed into a series of comic books, as well as a full length novel. The band has released six studio albums, three live albums, and several special-edition releases." -Coheed & Cambria (Wiki)

"Between the Buried and Me is an American heavy metal band from Raleigh, North Carolina. They have released a total of six studio albums, as well as a cover album, an EP and a live DVD/CD. A majority of the group's releases were made through Victory Records, until their shift to Metal Blade in 2011 where they released their first EP, The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues through the label on April 12, 2011. Their most recent effort, The Parallax II: Future Sequence was released on October 9, 2012." -Between The Buried an Me (Wiki)

"Unite three musicians - playing three unique roles; each compelled to move in the direction of what is timeless, to draw on history and take from where they’ve grown and from the traditions of music made decades ago - and you’ll craft a moment, a Rite of Spring, a new foundation akin to what Russian Circles have accomplished on their third album, Geneva." -Russian Circles (Official Site)

OK, so we got your foot in the door for the information.   Now time to do your part and pick up a ticket to this great tour (the sooner the better since we know it will sell out.  Each band individually tends to sell out shows regardless!).  Tickets can be ordered through Coheed's official site.
