Michael Hutchence Biopic in the Works

I was just listening to his cover of "The Passenger" the other day from the Batman Forever soundtrack, so funny enough that I would be reading articles the next day talking about his upcoming biopic.  And even more of a coincidence that INXS just announced their final shows and plan to disband?

So we all have heard about INXS at one time or another.  For those that don't, then time to jump on the world wide web and hit up Wiki for their full bio.  The band met great commercial success in the 80's and early 90's with the ever popular "Devil Inside", "Suicide Blonde" and "New Sensation."  Unfortunately (and as cliche as it sounds) tragedy struck the group when front man Michael Hutchence (according to coroner reports) committed suicide in relation to alcohol and substance abuse.  Always a shame when bands are at the top of their game and lose a vital member to the team.

Since his untimely death in 1997, the band recruited a new member and only recently did they announce that they have plans to disband.  Luckily though, writer Bobby Galinksy has decided to write a screenplay for the late singer's bio and the events surrounding his life and ultimately his death.  Not many details have been released yet, other than the confirmation that the biopic is in the works and casting is to begin in early 2013.

"Who was Michael Hutchence? What drove him? What were his demons? What were his loves?" -Gallinsky (focusing on a number of key questions as he works on the screen play)

"It's from the family's side as Michael being a son, a brother, a friend. It's not a sex, drugs and rock & roll tabloid situation." -Galinsky

Stay tuned for more details!  In the meantime, I figured to let you all listen to the track I was this morning:
