Jamie Cullum - Momentum

10,000,000 albums sold worldwide and thousands of sold out concerts.  So if you haven't caught on by now Jamie Cullum's newest album is in the works.  Momentum is the title chosen and will be released on May 20th, 2013 (UK) via Island Records.  Being that I just did an article about one of his albums (AFGM: Jamie Cullum - Twentysomething), I was very happy to hear that I'd get to add another album to the Cullum collection.  There are tons of bonuses with this album as well, featuring DVD performances and bonus tracks!

According to the official website, Jamie approached this record in a completely different way to the previous LPs, for the first time using DIY home demos as a blueprint for the majority of its tracks... and for a while, using everything from iPhone apps, charity shop keyboards and cassette recorders as his 'go-to' instruments during the process. Deluxe version comes in a hardcover book (yes!) and includes Jamie's hand-written lyrics, pictures from Jamie's home studio, and a DVD containing an exclusive interview with Jamie and his track by track description of the album.
