Revolver Golden Gods 2012 Reviews



The 2012 Revolver Golden Gods have now come to a close and the winners have been presented their awards.  I have to say it was quite the diverse amount of band winning awards this year, and a few surprising ones at that.  Nonetheless,  check out the award winners below and some video footage of some of the performers last night:

Comeback of the Year (presented by Eagle Rock Entertainment): Slipknot (R.I.P. Paul Gray)



Best International Band (presented by Musicians Institute): X Japan



Best Live Band (presented by Samson/Zoom): Avenged Sevenfold



Best Vocalist (presented by Rockstar Energy Drink): Amy Lee (Evanescence)



Most Metal Athlete: CM Punk (WWE Wrestling)



Most Dedicated Fans: Avenged Sevenfold






Album of the Year, presented by Marshall Amplification: Korn, The Path of Totality



Golden God, presented by Sumerian Records: Gene Simmons (KISS)



Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Award: Rush
