Sometimes, it really doesn't matter who you know.  According to the Michigan Messenger, Anthony Ciccone (older brother of Madonna) has mentioned that he is homeless, living on the streets, being served food by outreach shelters in Traverse City.

“My family turned their back on me, basically, when I was having a hard time.  You think I haven’t answered this kind of question a bazillion times — why my sister is a multibazillionarie, and I’m homeless on the street?  Never say never. This could happen to anybody.”

“I don’t have any income, I’ve got to go collect bottles and cans, do odd jobs.”

Despite the effort to help the homeless in the community, Ciccone was among several locals who got cold-related injuries last winter.

“They can’t do everything all the time for everybody, they just don’t have the resources,” he said. “These people that run these things are all volunteers, they don’t get paid to do these things.”

Hopefully this was a little insight to the extreme weather of living on the streets, regardless of who you know.  Maybe this will be a wake up call for some to give back to the community these coming holidays.

It don't matter who you are, you will get tackled if you're in the way of this security guard.  Last night at the Club Nokia in LA, lead singer Joey Belladonna (Anthrax) was caught in the middle of a take down after a fan rushed on stage during Antrax's performance.  You can watch all the action below:

As if you thought Metallica wasn't big enough, the boys are now planning their new multi media move.  Metallica has plans to create and produce a self financed 3D film.  The band has reportedly hired producer Charlotte Huggins to assist them with getting the project underway.  Huggins has worked on such 3D films as Journey to the Center of the Earth and the sequel Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (completed).

Now all the band is looking for is a director, so big names beware!  All other details are still in the early stages but I'm sure more news will surface very soon about this project as LULU starts to wrap up its recording and mastering process.

Matt Heafy (Trivium) is one of the few young musicians that would have the stones to acoustically cover Iron Maiden. The boys from Trivium did the cover at The Buzz Lounge on October 21, 2011.  You can check out the video below:

Unfortunately for Mayer fans, the singer has had to cancel a slew of dates off his tour and is on doctor's order to have complete vocal rest.  Mayer did however have to go under the knife fo the ongoing throat problems.

Mayer was diagnosed with granuloma (throat inflammation) just above his vocal cord last month and has been ordered to take complete vocal rest for at least a month after the surgery.

"I wanted to give you an update on the granuloma just above my vocal cord, I had surgery this afternoon to remove it and am now on complete vocal rest for a month or more. It's been a very long process in waiting to see if time was an alternative to surgery, but even given two weeks' voice rest (along with many other approaches), there was no change for the better." -John Mayer via Tumblr
