Black Veil Brides have been emerging as one of the bands to be looking out for in 2011/2012. Straight out of good ol Hollywood, the Motley Crue look alikes have taken the metal industry by storm with the release of their latest LP "Set The World On Fire", which was released June 14, 2011 via Lava Records.
Although the band has went through its fair share of lineup changes, they have evolved into an image that matches no other band currently in North America. Maybe its because the 80's tight leather and makeup started to wear off, but nonetheless, they are gaining the right attention. Currently, the group consists of:
Andy Biersack – lead vocals, keyboards
Christian "Coma" Mora – drums
Jinxx – rhythm guitar, violin, backing vocals
Jake Pitts – lead guitar
Ashley Purdy – bass, backing vocals
The group has also managed to release two LP's and an EP in their short time span, with plans of releasing another EP shortly and another LP in 2012:

(2007) Sex & Hollywood (EP)
(2010) We Stitch These Wounds
(2011) Set the World on Fire
(2011) Rebels (EP)
The boys have been touring nonstop since the release of their album and show no signs of stopping anytime soon. Currently, they are gearing up for yet another string of shows with Drive A, Aiden and Falling In Reverse:
As an added bonus, BVB's have dropped their latest music video today for their single "Rebel Love Song"

And since I am such a big fan of posting YouTube clips on this blog, I thought to add a couple more highlights from their "Set The World On Fire" LP with some more music videos:

(Legacy)
Bottom line, they may look like they should eat more food and pack on less makeup, but they can still rock the hell out of venue, shred their guitars, pound the drums and do what every other metal band does. They do a great job expressing their image and honestly don't care what negativity comes their way, and much respect comes from that. What can I say, 'haters are gonna hate', so keep up the good work boys!
