Operation: Ground & Pound The Opera House!

Guitar masters be warned, Herman Li and Sam Totman will be showing no mercy tonight as Dragonforce is set to take over The Opera House!  Back in Canada with a new singer (Marc Hudson), this one of a very few shows DF has announced before the holiday season.  Inertia Entertainment has also added Crimson Shadows and Aetherborn to the bill as direct support as well.

The current lineup of Dragonforce is:

Herman Li – guitar, backing vocals
Sam Totman – guitar, backing vocals
Vadim Pruzhanov – keyboards, synthesizer, theremin, backing vocals
Dave Mackintosh – drums
Frederic Leclercq – bass guitar, backing vocals
Marc Hudson – lead vocals

To give a lil background on Dragonforce, if you haven't heard about them already, Wikipedia did the work for me (haha):

"DragonForce are an English power metal band from London. Formed in 1999, the group is known for its long and fast guitar solos, fantasy-based lyrics, and electronic sounds in their music to add to their retro video game-influenced sound. Guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman are the only two remaining founding members in the group since ZP Theart's departure. Marc Hudson was announced as Theart's replacement in March 2011." -Wiki

You can pick up tickets for tonight's ALL AGES event via Ticketmaster or Rotate This.  Tickets are running for $25+fees and tax.

Now I know these videos might seem old to the hardcore fans of Dragonforce, but these are personally my favourite music videos:

(Through Fire & Flames)

(Operation Ground and Pound)

***FYI: Look for Dragonforce to be playing their latest single "Cry Thunder", which is supposed to be on the latest album, which has yet to be announced.
